The Challenges

  • Powerbio’s success prompted a need for a super-fast headcount expansion across the US. Traditional onboarding slowed progress and ate up HR’s time and headspace.
  • Collaboration: Different tools, different places, different spaces. The expansion powered an initiative to streamline work across a growing and dispersed team. Collaboration was not glitch-free.
  • IT Support: Powerbio’s drive to grow and thrive exceeded the capacity of its own IT resources.

The Project

1. We built the network

We evaluated PowerBio’s processes and documented how to stabilize and strengthen the company’s network. We profiled data locations, file-sharing tools, and wireless network configurations to build a comprehensive and secure wireless network. Powerbio now had a safe, secure, and monitored network outfitted with seamlessly integrated workflow tools.

2. We built the automated onboarding process

We created a scalable, secure, and automated new-hire onboarding procedure, including role-based access, speedy user-driven onboarding protocols, and SaaS account onboarding.

3. We created a robust cyber security strategy

To meet Powerbio’s immediate and future security needs, we created and deployed a suite of tailor-made cybersecurity policies and protocols for a consistent, comprehensive, and proactive approach to maintaining high levels of security 24/7.

4. We supported the team

We created and managed (and still manage) a super-responsive IT help desk for the geographically dispersed Powerbio team, including all new staff.

 

The Outcomes
